About Dr. Bluth
After attending Brigham Young University for his undergraduate work, Dr. Bluth entered Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois.
There he completed his dental studies and became National Board certified. Dr. Bluth passed the Illinois State Dental Board exam and practiced dentistry in Chicago for two years.
Dr. Bluth was accepted into the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine where he completed the Board Eligible Specialty Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the world famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Bluth established an oral surgery practice in Logan, Utah, and became active on the hospital staffs of the Logan Regional, Cooley Memorial, and Tremonton Community Hospitals.
His leadership in the medical field extended to being the Chairman of the AYUDA program, a medical, dental and educational program created to benefit people in the highlands of Guatemala.
Adding to his repertoire of medical and dental knowledge, Dr. Bluth subsequently completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine,
and was on the faculty there in both Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesiology.
Since 1989, he has dedicated his oral surgery practice to the exclusive removal of wisdom teeth, using I.V. anesthesia for his patients.
Still an active volunteer, Dr. Bluth donates approximately six days each month to the poor, underserved people in Mexico and one day each week to the uninsured and destitute in Salt Lake City.
He believes strongly in giving back to the community and serving others.
